TSA to increase passenger fees

Airline tickets will be more expensive in the near future thanks to an increase in the passenger fee that funds the Transportation Security Administration (TSA).
Following orders from Congress, the TSA is poised to raise the fee to $5.60 each way. That's up from $2.50 each way for a nonstop flight and $5 for a trip including connections. The fee is expected to go into effect at the end of July.
