The Verdi union in Germany has announced its third strike, this time calling for Lufthansa ground crew workers nationwide to participate in a 3-day strike from February 28th - March 1st. The union has stated that the strike "will be carried out in areas away from passengers" and should not cause flight cancellations. Lufthansa is still evaluating its schedule for possible flight disruptions Thursday and Friday.
