Delta Airlines has announced a new eight-tiered Zone Boarding process to replace the current Branded Boarding process. The new process is set to begin May 1st, 2024, and be similar to that used by United and American Airlines.
Delta anticipates that this change will have minimal impact on travelers, as passengers with a given ticket fare or frequent flier status maintain the same boarding position. For more details on the new Zone Boarding process, click here.
