Delta Air Lines Launches New Comfort Basic Fare

Delta Air Lines announced its new comfort fare, Comfort Basic, last month. The Comfort Basic fare is currently bookable for travel in very select markets.

Delta stated that "Delta Comfort Basic is a new travel experience within the Delta Comfort product line, designed for customers who want the extra legroom and premium onboard experience of Delta Comfort—but at a lower price point, and with a few familiar restrictions."

Delta Comfort Basic offers:

• Zone 3 boarding
• More legroom than the Main Basic fare
• Dedicated overhead bin space  
  
• Complimentary wine, beer, and spirits on most flights 
• Ability to earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) and miles with SkyMiles®
