Winter Storms Uri & Tabitha set to disrupt travel in Pacific Northwest, South, Midwest and Northeast through early next week

Winter Storm Uri is forecast to make its way eastward from the Pacific Northwest, bringing significant snowfall to the upper Midwest over the weekend and freezing rain south almost to the Gulf Coast of Texas.  Meanwhile, Winter Storm Tabitha will bring freezing rain, sleet and snow to the mid-Atlantic and Northeast this weekend, where it could impact travel conditions and potentially bring damaging ice accumulations. Collectively, these storms will impact different parts of the country through Tuesday, February 16th.
