On Thursday, December 24th the CDC announced it will require all air passengers traveling from the UK to provide a negative Covid-19 test within 72 hours of departure. This additional measure is in place to help prevent and slow transmission of a Covid-19 variant first identified in England in late September 2020 according to Public Health England.
