United Airlines to begin boarding Economy window seats first as of 10/26

United Airlines has announced that beginning October 26th, it will board economy passengers with window seats first (Group 3), followed by passengers with middle seats (Group 4), and passengers in aisle seats (Group 5). This process is expected to cut down on boarding time by two minutes.

There will be no priority boarding changes for travelers flying first-class, business-class or for those with preferred MileagePlus status. Pre-boarding, which typically occurs through Group 3 will also remain the same, and multiple customers on the same economy reservation will still be allowed to board together.
