After requesting a nationwide ground stop of all its flights around 8 p.m. ET on August 6th, United Airlines resumed operations around 10 p.m. ET.
United Airlines experienced a technology issue that impacted its operations and requested a temporary, system-wide ground stop until the issue was resolved. The airline stated that there will be residual impacts as it will take some time to get overall operations back to normal.
