TSA Ends Shoe Removal Policy

Homeland Security announced a new policy on July 8th, which will allow passengers traveling through domestic airports to keep their shoes on while passing through security screening at TSA checkpoints. The policy change will go into effect immediately at airports nationwide.

The Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated that "it’s important that we find ways to keep people safe, but also streamline and make the process more enjoyable for every single person.”
