TSA advising of long lines this summer at US airports

Summer months mean more airline passengers which, in turn, means longer security lines.

The TSA and airport officials across the country are recommending travelers give themselves a minimum of 2 hours to get through security checkpoints at US airports this summer.   A combination of fewer TSA staff members (due to budgetary constraints), new screening procedures (which regularly evolve & change) and more passengers  will very likely lead to greater wait times to traverse security checkpoints.   Please plan accordingly!
