Tropical Storm Grace is forecast to move over Jamaica today, Tuesday, where up to 9 inches of rain are possible in some areas along with tropical-storm-force winds.
The storm could reach hurricane strength over the course of the next 48 hours after it enters open water on its way toward the Yucatan Peninsula. Hurricane watches are in effect along eastern parts of the peninsula.
