Southwest Airlines (SWA) has announced big changes are coming to the airline, as the brand plans to deviate from its signature open seating policy. Beginning in 2025, SWA will offer assigned seating as well as premium legroom options. The cabin design is still underway, but customers can expect features like larger overhead bins, in-seat power, better wifi, and more comfortable seats according to SWA.
