Southwest Airlines announced a rebrand of its fare bundles this week. The rebrand in fares includes:
- Beginning May 28th, 2025
- The Wanna Get Away fare class will become Southwest’s Basic fare. It allows for a standard seat that will be assigned at check-in and will board last.
- Beginning the third quarter of 2025
- Choice Extra will replace Business Select. It allows for the selection of an extra legroom seat, or any seat, and early boarding.
- Choice Preferred will replace Anytime. It allows for the selection of a preferred seat, or any standard seat, and early general boarding.
- Choice will replace Wanna Get Away Plus. It allows for the selection of a standard seat in the back, which can be selected at the time of booking, and general boarding.
- A-List and A-List Preferred tier members will receive preferred seating and earlier boarding.
