Solar Eclipse May Cause Flight Disruptions on April 8th

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) warns that there may be flight disruptions on April 8th, 2024 due to the solar eclipse. Special air traffic procedures will be in place from April 7th-10th.

The eclipse will begin on Mexico's Pacific Coast at approximately 11:07 a.m. Pacific Time (PT), then make its way to Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Click here for more information.
