The trade union Verdi has called for a comprehensive strike by security personnel at Frankfurt Airport between 2 p.m. and 20 p.m. on Tuesday, 15 January 2019. As a result, a considerable amount of disruptions are to be expected regarding flight operations at Frankfurt Airport.
Travelers who are scheduled to depart Frankfurt that day will be unable to do so as all security checkpoints will be closed. Travelers who are connecting through Frankfurt airport are not expected to experience inconvenience.
