Potential disruption of flights to/from German airports

The labor union Verdi has issued ‘warning strikes’ as part of the failed collective bargaining negotiations between themselves and the Federal Association of Aviation Security Companies (BDLS) in Germany that may impact airports across Germany over the coming days.

The union is negotiating with the BDLS on a new collective agreement for about 25,000 security staff nationwide. Three rounds of negotiations have so far failed to produce a result. Both sides plan to meet in Berlin on March 16th and 17th for further talks.

Cain will be available to support our customers who may face a last minute cancellation due to the random ‘warning strikes’ that may occur across airports in Germany over the next week.
