A dangerous storm that is expected to become the first US-named hurricane in 2019 is expected to hit the Gulf States over the next few days dumping significant rain.
The slow moving storm is currently projected to hit landfall in SE Louisiana on Saturday bringing with it relentless rain.
Southern Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and the western Florida Panhandle are under the gun for extreme rainfall.
Cain has generated reporting to determine who may be impacted by this storm and will be working to contact them to advise and discuss contingency plans as needed.
