London Heathrow Airport (LHR) has installed new CT scanners across all terminals, allowing travelers to bring liquids of up to two liters (instead of the previous 100 ml limit) in their carry-on bags and keep them inside their bags during security screening. This updated process is expected to create a faster and more efficient security experience at LHR.
The new CT scanners also allow travelers to leave their large electronic devices inside their bags during screening.
