International Flights Suspended in Nuuk, Greenland Due to Security Screening

International flights have been suspended at the Nuuk International Airport (GOH) in Greenland after Danish authorities halted international passenger screening on August 26th, 2025. Officials said that the staff had not received adequate training, causing the screening to be stopped.

Danish transportation officials stated that they are addressing the specific conditions needed in the training and are working to restore normal operations for international traffic as soon as possible.

Domestic flights are operating as usual.

Cain will continue to monitor the situation and have agents available to support travelers impacted by this event.
