Hurricane Willa became a major Category 5 storm on Monday, sweeping toward Mexico's Pacific coast with winds of 160 mph, the National Hurricane Center advised. Forecasters said Willa is a potentially catastrophic storm that could make landfall along Mexico's southwestern coast (including the beach resort towns of Mazatlán and Puerto Vallarta) Tuesday afternoon or evening.
