Hurricane Florence: United Airlines Waiver

Based upon the possible landfall of Hurricane Florence this week, the airlines have begun to issue waivers for travelers in the Southeast US.  Cain Travel has already identified travelers who may be impacted and we are reaching out to those customers.

As new updates become available, we will publish that information on our client email list, our blog, and via social media.

Current Airline Waivers

United Airlines

United customers traveling to, from or through the following airports are permitted to make voluntary changes to tickets that are issued by September 10, 2018.  Change fees and any difference in fare will be waived for new flights departing on or before September 20, 2018 as long as travel is rescheduled in the same cabin, between the originally ticketed cities.  In certain cases, where original flights are ultimately cancelled or delayed more than 2 hours from the originally scheduled arrival time, refunds will be available.
