Hiroshima Airport suspends all flights after runway incident

All flights have been delayed at the Hiroshima Airport after Air Asiana flight 162, from Inchon Airport in South Korea, overran the runway on landing. At least 20 passengers were injured, at approximately 20:00 hours, local time (11:00 GMT). No information was released on when the airport would reopen.

Anticipate severe flight disruptions resulting in major delays or cancellations over the next 24-48 hours.

Cain is generating reports to determine who may be impacted by this event and will be reaching out to the traveler to advise and re-accommodate if desired.
