Four U.S. Airports Rank Among the World's 10 Busiest

According to OAG’s “The Busiest Airports of 2024” report, four U.S. airports ranked in the top 10 busiest airports globally. Ranking #1 as the Busiest Airport in 2024 was Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), with 62.7 million seats across domestic and international flights.

Among the top 10 rankings were also Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) at #5, Denver International Airport (DIA) at #6, and Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) at #10. 

Both DFW and DEN surpassed their 2019 performance, "with capacity increases of 18% at DFW and 24% at DEN, marking the highest growth among the top ten airports."
