The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has announced that the federal transportation mask mandate will be extended for another 15 days, through May 3. The mandate, which was set to expire on April 18, requires face coverings to be worn at all times on public transportation and in transport hubs, regardless of vaccination status. This includes planes, trains, buses, airports and bus terminals.
