Starting August 2nd at 4AM, US and EU residents arriving from a designated ‘Amber’ list destination to England will no longer need to quarantine if they have been fully vaccinated with vaccines authorized by the EMA in Europe and FDA in the United States.

Below are the requirements surrounding this announcement:

  • Travelers must be fully vaccinated for at least 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Americans will be required to have their vaccine card, while EU tourists will be required to have the “green pass”.
  • Passengers from all countries must continue to complete a passenger locator form prior to departure, and take a pre-departure COVID-19 test within 72 hours of their departure.
  • A ‘day 2’ arrival PCR test is still required.

Currently, this is only applicable to arrivals in England.
