Caribbean Airspace Reopens After Strike on Venezuela

On January 3rd, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) restricted airspace over parts of the Caribbean following a U.S. military strike on Venezuela. The airspace reopened around midnight on January 3rd, allowing flights to resume. However, residual disruptions are expected as airlines work to fully restore normal operations.

The U.S. Department of State has a Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory for Venezuela.

Cain agents are available to support travelers impacted by these events.
