Despite the proliferation of online booking services, Cain Travel has seen more than 47 percent increased revenue growth since 2008.
The family-owned, Boulder-based company was founded by David and Linda Cain in 1975 as Viking Travel, and rebranded as The Cain Travel Group in 1986 after a failed merger.
Today, the company has 62 employees, 435 regular clients, and focuses 80 percent of their business on corporate travel. They boasted 2013 sales of $122,600,000, ranking third overall and first among locally owned Denver-area travel agencies by sales volume.
