The Boston Logan airport is operating under heightened security and customers are  advised to check with their airlines for the status of their flights today before going to the airport both if the traveler originates in Boston or has a connecting flight through Boston.

Many in Boston, of course, might be unable to head to the airport today because of transit disruptions and lockdowns in some parts of the metro area.

Taxis are still coming to and from the airport, though they were in short supply as of 10 a.m. ET.

Many airlines are offering change fee waivers for reservations scheduled to depart from Boston today due to the lockdown.   Contact your Cain agent to determine if you have an eligible itinerary for such should you wish to postpone your trip.

Cain has generated reports to determine who may be impacted by this event and will be following-up with the traveler and/or their administrator.
