Beginning in January 2025, Australian passport holders will be able to join Global Entry. A select group of Australians who "travel most frequently to the U.S.," will be able to apply first, before the application opens to all Australians later in the year.
"The foundation of the friendship between Australia and the United States is the friendship between our people," Penny Wong, Australia's minister for foreign affairs, said in a statement. "This program will deepen these links and make it easier to foster greater commercial ties."
