American Airlines Summer 2020 Promotion offers Double AAdvantage Miles on Flights

To take advantage, you must be a member of the American Airlines AAdvantage loyalty program and pre-register for the promotion.  The opportunity expires on June 30, 2020.  To register for the promotion, log into your AAdvantage membership account and look for the below registration link:

Below outlines the details and limitations of the promotion:

• You are limited to earning a maximum total of 10,000 bonus AAdvantage miles for the duration of this promotion.
• The promotion code is JUN2X.
• Eligible flights for this promotion include any published fare which is both marketed by American Airlines and operated by American Airlines or American Eagle and is flown by the passenger between Monday, June 1, 2020 and Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
• Flights which are marketed or operated by other codeshare airline partners are not eligible for this promotion — and flights which have been booked with AAdvantage miles as the form of payment are not eligible for this promotion.
• Travel booked after Tuesday, June 30, 2020, isn’t eligible to earn bonus miles. 
• You can make changes to your existing eligible travel under the original record locator after Tuesday, June 30, 2020 and remain eligible for this promotion. You cannot cancel and re-book a reservation made during the promotion after Tuesday, June 30th, 2020.
• Double bonus award miles for each eligible flight will post to your AAdvantage membership account.
