Strike in Belgium Causes Flight Cancellations and Closed Airspace, February 13th

A national strike in Belgium is expected to disrupt travel on February 13th due to airport handlers, security staff, and air traffic controllers' participation in the strike.

Brussels Airport (BRU) and Brussels Charleroi Airport (CRL) announced that no flights will depart on the 13th. The Belgium airspace will be closed, so all flights above the country from 6.45 a.m. to 10.15 p.m. will also be canceled.
