An outage affecting Amazon Web Services (AWS) on October 20th caused widespread disruptions to multiple airline websites, including Delta Air Lines and United Airlines.
Customers reported being unable to check in for flights, while others experienced missing reservations and seat assignments. As of around 5:30 a.m. ET, Amazon stated it was “seeing significant signs of recovery.” Residual effects may continue to impact airline websites.
