Effective April 1, Air France and KLM airlines will be introducing a surcharge of €11 per one-way booking or €22 round-trip to reservations made through booking channels other than their own websites. This move follows previous similar actions put forth by Lufthansa and British Air.
Delta Airlines - a member of the SkyTeam Alliance along with Air France and KLM - has announced that they will not be following this action. In fact, the surcharge can be avoided by booking Delta marketed flights when flying Air France & KLM.
