Air Canada's flight attendants have announced plans to strike on August 16. Air Canada stated that it is beginning a “phased wind-down of most of our operations, to be completed over the next three days,” and will start canceling flights on August 14 in anticipation of a potential strike. Operations are expected to resume the evening of August 18th.
